And now FEMAIL can reveal Meghan Markle, 38, has worn an incredible £977,309 worth of clothing throughout her 22 month career as a working royal. Since she married Prince Harry on May 19, 2018, the mother-of-one has worn a parade of designer outfits from brands such as Dior, Givenchy, Prada and Chanel and an array of expensive accessories. Meghan has become renowned for her love of glamorous designer clothes and expensive jewellery, with the royal rarely seen in the same outfit twice.  Meghan Markle, 38, has worn almost £1 million worth of clothing since marrying Prince Harry, 35, in May 2018. During her 22 months as a working royal, she has proven a love for designer shoes, glamorous clothing and glitzy earrings   The Duchess of Sussex has rarely worn the same outfit twice, and often donned glitzy designer pieces, including while touring in Australia and Fiji (left) and Morocco (right) After joining the royal family, the cost of Meghan's clothes for work engagements has been covered by Prince Charles through the budget he gives the couple from the Duchy of Cornwall. Whether or not they will continue to receive this stipend from Charles remains to be seen. It is also not clear whether Meghan always pays full price for her clothing, or whether she receives discounts from designers. Here FEMAIL calculates the cost of Meghan's royal wardrobe, only taking into account the cost of items once and not counting recycled items. It adds up to a staggering £977, 309, including her two wedding dresses, and an eye-watering £118,000 on their tour of Australia, New Zealand and The Pacific in 2018 and her £26,000 Megxit tour wardrobe.  The royal's wardrobe is currently covered by Prince Charles , although it is not known if that practice will continue after she has stepped down as a senior, working royal (pictured with Prince Harry at the Commonwealth Service earlier in March)
