Do you know these names- Lyor Cohen, Rick Rubin, and Jimmy Iovine? I bet you probably only know one out of the three names I mentioned. Now, do you know these names- Lil Wayne, Kanye West, and Drake? Heck yeah! I'm sure 100% of the people reading this post know who those people are. Well, the truth is that they are the faces you know, but the people who really run hip hop music are in the background. They are the people who fund some of your favorite artists. They are the ones who own most of the record labels that some of your favorite rappers are on. They are the ones who, 90% of the time decide when a rapper's album will drop, and which way the material on the album is too be structured. These are some of the reasons why I say that- Jewish people run hip hop.
Okay, let me break it down a little more so you can understand. Let's pick, one by one, some of the most prominent people in Hip Hop right now, and dissect them to see how much power they really have in the directions that their careers go, and how much they really make from the brand they have created for themselves. Let's start with the people's current champion, Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick is signed to TDE (Top Dawg Entertainment), which did a deal with Dr. Dre's Aftermath Records last year to have Kendrick on Aftermath/Interscope, but still on TDE; these means that Kendrick's profits will be shared between Anthony 'Top Dawg' Tiffith, Dre, and Interscope Records C.E.O. But being that Interscope Records (which Aftermath Records is under) is the parent company that now handles all distribution of Kendrick's album sales, they have a higher percentage on the sales of every Kendrick Lamar CD sold, and also have the power to dictate which way Kendrick's career goes. And who is the C.E.O of Interscope Records? You guessed right; a Jew by the name of Jimmy Iovine.
Till this day, I still wonder why Dr. Dre, with all the money he has made is still under Jimmy Iovine. It is almost like he can't do anything on his own. Even with his Beats By Dre headphones, he is still in partnership with Mr. Iovine. I'd like it to take it back to the late 80s to show you how long Jews have been running Hip Hop. And it will interest you to know that Dr. Dre seems to be entangled in this web I want to entangle. Back in the mid 80s, a young black man by the name of Eric Wright had a vision to form his own record label. Since this young man, by the stage name of Eazy E didn't know too much of the politics of establishing a successful record label, he partnered with someone who did. That person, Jerry Heller, was a grown Jewish man, almost twice Eazy E's age at the time. The company, Ruthless Records started off in 1986, and NWA, which was a rap group consisting of Dre, Eazy E, Ice Cube, and MC Ren sold millions with their albums under the label. But within a couple of years at the label, Ice Cube left, and then Dre followed suit. They claimed Eazy E and the Jew were cheating them off of their due payments/royalties.
Dre left Ruthless Records in 1991 to help Suge Knight out with a new label- Death Row Records. The new label was a success, spawning Dre himself, Snoop Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound (Kurrupt and Daz Dillinger), Nate Dogg, and Tupac. After 5 years with the label, Dre left again. He didn't want to have any problems with Suge Knight, so he left Knight with the rights to all the material he made while at the label. He then formed his own new label, Aftermath Records in 1996, under Interscope Records, which, as we said earlier, is owned by Jimmy Iovine.
Let me pick another artist- Eminem. Eminem is the most commercially successful rapper to date, and he is under Interscope Records (owned by a Jew- Jimmy Iovine). He is also managed by another Jewish man named Paul Rosenberg. Rick Ross is a boss right? Yea, but there are bigger bosses in the background. His MMG Label was distributed via Warner Music Group for many years, and who ran the major label then? Lyor Cohen. I think I should take it back a little bit again. Dej Jam (which has the record of signing some of the biggest names in Hip Hop history) was actually founded by a Jewish college dude back in the 1984. That college dude was Rick Rubin. He didn't understand the hip hop scene too well, so he joined forces with Russell Simmons. The two had problems in 1988, and Rubin left to form another label. And guess who was the cause of the problem, a Jewish guy by the name- Lyon Cohen. In 1988, Russell Simmons had made Cohen Def Jam president; lifting him from the artists management position he held with the label about 3 years prior.
So, you can see that the Jews have a lot of power in Hip Hop. Even if an artists wants to go the independent route and not sign to a major label, he still has to sign a distribution deal with them. Well, unless the artist wants to base his whole market on the digital world, then you can bye-pass the majors and other sharks out their. But, then the artists wont enjoy the joys of seeing his physical CDs in stores.
In closing, I'd like to say that I think Jews are just good business men, and they are cashing in on the rap music boom. And the reason that they will keep on thriving in the business is because Jews build together and help each other grow, while an average black man has the 'crab in the bucket' mentality- he believes he always has to bring down his kind in other to get to the top. And the sad truth is that, Rappers might be rich while they are hot, but Jews and other white men that own the labels (and thus own the music) continue to stay rich after the rappers have faded off the scene.
